The Cake College is located in a stunning oak framed annexe in the garden of a Grade II* listed Georgian farmhouse. We are close to Reading, 10 minutes drive from train stations and within easy reach of the M4 and M3. We are also close to the Buckinghamshire, Hampshire, Surrey, and Oxfordshire borders, so easily accessible for these counties. 

 

Reading and Wokingham train stations are within a few miles, and Heathrow airport is only half an hour away. Plenty of off street parking is available, with an electric car charger too, and if you need to book a hotel or taxi, we are happy to help with that.

Each cake class is held in a light and airy space, ideal for learning a new skill or perfecting an existing one. We have ovens, hobs and a fully equipped kitchen, and huge comfy sofas for sinking in to when it's time for a break. This is first and foremost a family home, and provides a much more relaxed environment than a commercial kitchen would do. We believe that your learning environment is just as important as the tutor and class content, and it is an ideal setting to learn and have fun in.

As a place to work it takes some beating, and sometimes when we’re stood by the island, looking out over the fields and watching the chickens cluck around the garden, we do have to pinch ourselves.
